It has Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) and upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system with 2.5 GHz Krait 400 Quad-core CPU & Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset. It has 3 GB RAM & 64 GB ROM with 13 MP primary & 8 MP secondary camera. It has 4100 mAh Li-Ion –non-removable battery.

In this post we will discuss about how to install TWRP recovery & root on Lenovo ZUK Z1.

Guide To Install Twrp Recovery And Root Lenovo ZUK Z1

Note:

1. Charge Your Device at least 60%.
2. Backup Phone Apps, Contacts, SMS.

Files you need:

1. Unlock The Bootloader Of ZUK Z1 here
2. Download Lenovo ZUK Z1 USB Driver here
3. Download Lenovo ZUK Z1 TWRP Recovery here
4. Download Lenovo ZUK Z1 SuperSU Zip here
5. Download Lenovo ZUK Z1 SuperSU Zip here

Procedure to install TWRP Lenovo ZUK Z1:

1. At first download & unzip “Fastboot-Adb-Tool” from the above link.
2. Next download TWRP 3.0 from the above link & rename it to “recovery.img“.
3. Connect your device to PC.
4. After that open cmd by pressing “Shift+ Right click of Mouse“.                                                                   
5. You can turn on your device fastboot mode with the help of this command 

          adb reboot bootloader

With the help of this command you can flash the twrp recovery of your device

fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash recovery recovery.img

Reboot your device with below commend

Fastboot reboot

You can successfully installed TWRP of your device.

Procedure to Root Lenovo ZUK Z1:

1. At first download “SuperSu-v2.67-zip” & unzip it.
2. Copy it to your device.
3. Switch off your device.
4. By pressing “Volume Down + Power” you can turn on your device into recovery mode.
5. Go to the Install Zip navigate SuperSu zip & swipe it to install.
